      Planner Installation Mortars

Thinset mortar is the choice for Cermaic Tile and Natural Stone installation. Planner provides all clients with the best Thinset Mortar used today by many Tile and Stone contractors.

Tile and Stone installation process:

• showers: we lath, scratch, and float all showers no cement board is used at all
• tub showers: install water tight seal on tub to wall framing. (this is very important)
• we check prior to any work done all plumbing valves for proper depth clearance
• all float work involved in tub showers and showers are: plumb,level, and square for perfect layout
• we provide minimum shower floor slope with proper drainage
• complete layout approval from homeowner/builder is #1 priority before install
• all concrete sub-floors are checked for flatness prior to laying any tile or stone
• anti-fracture membranes are installed before floor tile/stone is layed
• elevations heights are checked also when installating mud-set stone
• tile and stone work is kept clean during install process
• all work is professionally installed using the best mortars available today

 glass tile backsplash. Notice the perfect layout of all glass. The splash behind the stove top is full glass from top to bottom, this type of glass work must be full tile at all times period, the end result is truly a masterpiece.

 Glass tile 2.5"x5" with 1/8" joint. this backsplash was grouted with Epoxy Grout in order to have maxium protection from stains. The grout will never discolor.

Pacific Golden Oynx 1"x 1" on tub face and splash, 12"x12" on tub deck, steps, and bathfloor. All this material polished. This Master Bathroom is 300 srft. Tub deck was floated with concrete in order to achieve perfect layout. The cut out you see on the first step is where the plumber connects the tub drain.

 This mural was produced from a picture. My client wanted me to create the shoreline scene from a picture that i was presented.  Glass mosaic, sea foam marble and honed travertine.

this is the finished tub shower combination, simply a great design.

1"x 1" Noche travertine cut on site. My client requested that i cut 18"x18" tiles into 1"x 1" then mix  them into the installation. Planner constructed this fireplace from ground up.

 2000 srft of Earth stone, 3000 srft of Quartzite slate, commercial project Laguna Beach Ca.

 Stainless shower drain designed by Rick Salazar for yacht Maverick. I Rick Salazar have a true knowledge on what has to be done and what needs to be done right.

Planner tour out old Mexican Pavers and replaced entry walkway with Porcelean Tile. Planner also reinforced the entry porch with 1/2" rebar and wire lath. The edge of the steps have a 1/4" round tile trim. The owners of this project were very pleased with the final result.
